I went from paying 329 for 100 gallons to almost 400 now in a matter of 4 months surcharge this, surcharge that, and they cant tell you why the surcharge is there or what for. It has been added is all they say. Do not get propane from these guys I filled my tank up and decided not to keep them found a better lower price and they kept my $287 what a rip off if you want to be ripped off used these people
Driver blatantly lied about the services they perform. Had a propane delivery yesterday and tech said that he shut my tank because they had to do a leak test due to the gas being low and I needed to have a tech out to perform it. I paid $139 to Frances at the Dover office to have it done for the next day. I was in tears because money is hard for some folks. Showed up at 630am to fill my tank. Driver backed up his truck and went through my yard and left ruts in my yard over 10 feet long and 9 inches deep. Driver did not say anything to me when this occurred. I called them after seeing the damage and they said they would send someone out to take a look, which they never did. Im not calling twice to remind them of the damage they created. Nice people but they dont do what they say they will do. My yard is still messed up from their driver!
Excellent service for supplying propane gas; however, my accounting experience was less than optimal. I routinely pay my bill as it relates to meter charges and administration fees. My most recent invoice included fees for the renewal of a "maintenance contract". Ran out of propane early Saturday morning and our ONLY option is to get filled by Poores because they own our tank, they REFUSE to deliver until Monday...because we are at-will customers and not on automatic refill. I cant believe a company would refuse a PAYING CUSTOMER service simply because of the type of account they have. We always pay up front for our deliveries and it is 30 degrees outside! Im appalled by their lack of customer service.

What a Ripoff!!! They charge to read the meter every month! $78.00 a year! Whey can't they read the meter every 4 months. We don't even use propane in the summer! 900 houses in my development which can be done in a day; so the meter reading fees equal $ 70,200.00 extra in Mr. Steiner's pocket from this development every year!!! JUST to read Meters!!! WOW! Reading a meter? How Antiquated! Hey Steiner, move into the 21st century!!!
