Eliminate the Meter Reading Fees....What a RIPOFF! They charge you to read your meter every month. Even in the summer when there is no propane being used!!!
Can't even show up with proper extension to fill up the tank. This happens time and time again and states on work order you need it.
Try Southern States instead. These people are very greedy. When I bought my place there were 2 large tanks there. I didn't use enough gas to please them, so they charged me $149 for not using gas(???) and I told them to come take their rusty tanks out. They charged me$125 to pick up their own tanks I never asked for and an additional $99 to empty the tanks. I am retired and don't have money to give to a greedy corporation. I advise going elsewhere and carefully read the contract before getting into it with these people
They sent me a letter saying they would charge me $149 for tanks sitting on my property because I don't use enough. I told them to come get the tanks and they charged me $125 pick up fee AND an additional $99 drainage fee because, once again, I didn't use enough gas to keep their greedy butts living large. BTW, I am on Social Security and I never asked for the tanks, they were here when I moved in. Good old American Greed!
Although the service professionals were outstanding, the Poore's Propane will call policy is archaic. We had to move out of our home for three days until they delivered propane. Really unfair to people who mistakenly run out of propane.
Very unhappy. Had to have a mandatory leak check after refill. Had to pay up front to get scheduled. Then couldnt get a time other than any time between 8 and 4. Its after 5:00, stayed home all day and still not here
Just bought a house last Tuesday. Tank was left empty. Ive been waiting on heat for a week. I think there are better options out there and you need to come dig up your tank.. over a week without heat is not acceptable. We had a delivery today but need a pressure inspection tomorrow? I havent had heat in my new house in a week. What kind of company is this?
Every single time we deal with Poores it is a debacle. Deceptive business practices and rude customer service. We have been given conflicting info every time we try to get on the budget plan. This last time we were told we had to be paid in full and an empty tank in July. No problem, we dont have a balance and we have 5% of our rank left and its almost July. Husband called to set up plan and delivery only to be given different info and hung up on by Carol. Husband spoke with Carol again who denied hanging up on him. A... read more
- TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - RUDE - INCONSISTENT COMMUNICATION We would not recommend Poores Propane. We had Poores Propane come out and fill us up once and then we immediately cancelled our account. We were billed the full rate ($2.89) per gallon
