We have been to Portico a couple times previously. We enjoy the originality of the food on the menu, and the always outstanding service. I did notice the use of MSG in the food my wife and I selected. I do not understand why MSG is needed in such a fine restaurant. We still plan on dining at Portico again in the future.

The design of the restaurant is beautiful and our service was pretty good not great by any means. The waitress served us water which was pretty much room temperature which was a little surprising. My wife and I started with the Calamari which as excellent, some of the best I’ve ever had! The problem was the main course, we both got the Filet Mignon, my wife the 5 oz. and I had the 10 oz. both medium rare. Our waitress was amazing. She was funny and honest about the menu options. The food was delicious and the drinks were on point!
