It was not my first visit to Portico. I have always found the food and service to be excellent there. I think they are still struggling to get back to normal as the restrictions are easing. The menu was limited (understandably), so I was disappointed that I could not order some of my favorite items. We had a 16 oz ribeye and rigatoni carbonara. The only problem was immediately when we got there. A small, dark haired, older woman just looked at us angrily for about 10 seconds and said nothing. I finally said Hello she did not reply and continued to look at me as though I offended her in some way, by simply walking into the restaurant. I don’t know if she was confused or overwhelmed or whatever but it was absolutely ridiculous. We considered leaving at that point but since it was already a later reservation, we decided to stay. We were celebrating my 59th birthday and our 30th Anniversary and wanted to go somewhere to start the new "normal" and we chose to go to the casino. The waitress was fabulous and the food was amazing. What a way to start to going out again.

Steak was great, Kelly the server was super nice. Learned there was dessert the cannoli was great too.

Was disappointed that the lobster salad was gone . No dinner specials and smaller menu with not enough choices for ppl who don’t eat meat . Good cocktails and Danielle was a excellent server !

Dinners came out before our salads. We cancelled the salads at that point and our waitress said she would take them off the bill but forgot to so we had to have her do the bill over again. I asked for grated cheese with my pasta and it came after I was half done with it. There were three of us dining and she brought amuse bouche for two. About 10-15 minutes later brought a third. Underwhelming experience this time around. I understand that much of the staff may be new so we will be back again.
