Excellent food. Service was ok, it looks like they are trying hard but not enough experience or proper training. This is an upscale Italian place, so I expected that pasta dish will come before the entree, not together with it, and without me telling that to the waiter. For the amount of people in the restaurant, service was slow, took a while to get drinks, and as far as second drink, we were almost done with food, before waiter finally decided to inquire about. food though makes it worth it.
Great place, great food, great atmosphere. I really recommend this place.
Food is good, cocktails are not. Don't waste your money on Portico's $13 cocktails.....they are not very good at all. The food, however, is quite good. I especially enjoyed the poached pear salad.

Nice cheese board and pear salad to start, and our group thought the lamb was flavorful and juicy and the Gorgonzola dunking sauce for the lamb chop was superb. However a few points off for the "Cronut" which was actually 5 balls of fried dough, served with 3 squeeze bottles of sauce to inject as desired. Tasty but too big for one and not much different from Fried dough at the Fair. My cappuccino was nice but my friends coffee was weak as if they ran a second pot of water through the same old grounds. Service at beginning of... read more
