Since my husband passed away 7 months ago, I find myself dining alone on most occasions and my dining experience at Portico was exceptional. I felt very comfortable and my server, Sarah was very kind and was excellent in everything she did, even making me feel comfortable talking about the different selections and the local connections for the food. I would and will, definitely go again and again.

Our initial waiter said hi and disappeared. The back up was great but she was on her own. The steak was very fatty and not tender. A ribeye for that price shouldn't have that much fat.

Was my 21st Anniversary. Perhaps I expected more than I should have considering the venue (i.e. Casino). However I have eaten in similar style restaurants in other Casinos and had a much better experience. The décor was nice, but not elegant. The staff was friendly. It was exceptionally noisy. So noisy I could barely hold a conversation with my wife at the table. It was not crowded, Several parties nearby were inebriated and loud. I expected quality and I expected to pay for it. hostess that greeted us and walked us to our table was very rude... we almost left.. server was outstanding as well as the meal, however the main course took over one hour to get to our table.

This was our first time to Portico (and del Lago). We enjoyed it very much; food, ambience and service were great. My husband and I have the opportunity to dine out fairly often, and Michael was, by far, one of the best servers we have had. If we were to return, we would ask if he were working and request to be at one of his tables. (Thought the iPad drinks list was cool!)

The sticky buns was beyond delicious. Such a yummy brunch. Can't wait to come back for dinner!

Excellent food. Service was ok, it looks like they are trying hard but not enough experience or proper training. This is an upscale Italian place, so I expected that pasta dish will come before the entree, not together with it, and without me telling that to the waiter. For the amount of people in the restaurant, service was slow, took a while to get drinks, and as far as second drink, we were almost done with food, before waiter finally decided to inquire about. food though makes it worth it.
