We arrived promptly for our reservation and were seated as soon as the hostess returned to the stand, (around 5 minutes) but sat unattended at our table for around 10-15 minutes. (No water, no "I'll be right with you", etc). (While our server was very kind & professional, the long waits and extended absences would be the trend throughout our visit--Not sure if she was tending to another section or large party--but she would disappear for 20 minutes at a time not to be seen at all in-between courses etc, meanwhile the servers... read more

Had a delightful dinner at Portico last night. Service was outstanding, and dinner delish. Always such a treat to go there.

The food was fantastic and the service was great, but when the server took our food away to box it, she threw out half of our steak we had intended as leftovers with the rest. Filets aren’t cheap. Service should definitely be confirming what should be tossed before making that assumption, or box AT the table to avoid confusion.

We were attending a concert and have not been to Portico since pre-Covid. It was excellent! Food, service and timing!!!

What a wonderful experience ... Our waitress was wonderful and the presentation of food and taste was absolutely wonderful ... The only thing that did not go well is our welcome to your establishment ... We arrived approximately 4:20 pm and the staff at the Host/Hostess station informed us that we had to return and that no one would be heard until 4:30 pm ... Went for our Anniversary prior to a concert at the Vine and absolutely loved everything! The chicken thigh Marsala was fabulous! We also had the espresso creme brûlée and that was divine! The cost of a bottle of wine was a bit pricey but the meal was one to savor! Would highly recommend!
