Contacted this Dave he was quick to reply as he and his team dragged this out, it became obvious, that they have no clue. Dave does not even know who works for/with him, the only other contact I had was from a Steve, Dave asked me who Steve is ?? after weeks of only dealing with him. WOW. they claim they do not get faxes or e-mails, but no other entity has trouble receiving them, claims my bank is to encrypted and cannot open things from the bank. Zac, I'm sorry you aren't happy. Please keep in mind when trying to overcome tougher credit with alternative type documentation, it is a more difficult process. We had waited 4 weeks for your requested documentation and it came over in cutoff photos that weren't usable or bank information that required your personal password to open that we didn't have. I would never recommend Dave and his team at Bay Equity LLC to anyone. What a disappointment. Throughout the whole loan approval process I felt like my file there was bouncing between Dave and his co-workers. No one in particular was assigned to work on my file and answer my questions or emails. If I had a question I had to literally " move the mountains" to get a response or an explanation from someone there. The whole process was extremely stressful. The sellers can only provide what your closing costs were and cannot give you money outside of your transaction. You decided to change many items and elements in the transaction, multiple occasions. I would NEVER work with this agency again! From the beginning each step was a mess and misleading. Approved for the wrong loan with 0 down to having to get a new loan and needing a lot of money down. The numbers were always quoted at one amount so I would ok the transaction, but once commenced it was usually hundreds of dollars more. Unfortunately, when a property type that isn't allowed for the loan type pre-qualified for, the loan type must change as well. From our perspective, we feel fortunate that we were able to even finance you as manufactured homes are not open to all loan types.
