Heidi did my blowout and given the massive head of hair I have I was duly impressed with the speed she completed it in. Salon is spartan but uber clean I will return. If you have thick curly hair ask for Heidi!

I was visiting from out of town and thought I was planning ahead by booking a shampoo and blowout online. When I arrived I was met by an extremely rude woman who declared I didn't get a confirmation so I had no appointment. I understand that it was a mistake on my part but this person was so unaccommodating and rude that I left furious! She didn't look to see if there was anything later that day or the next or apologize for the glitz in booking. By FAR, the WORST blowout I've ever had at the Hayden location in north Scottsdale. Stylist was RUDE, insulted my hair, huffed and puffed as she yanked at my hair. This was not my first bad blow out there but yesterday was AWFUL! I am a faithful visitor to DryBar, at least once a week, and will never stray again! Save your $45 (plus $10 for curling iron) and go to DRYBAR!
First off I booked for a dry style and was told to come in with my hair dry and clean. I proceeded to tell the rude lady on the phone that my hair dries pretty curly and frizzy and if I should flat iron it before hand. She said no they will do it for u. Upon walking in to the salon no one greeted me and I was standing infront of 3 girls, 1 on the phone and 2 talking to eachother. I tried Primp and Blow for the first time after having surgery that made it impossible to wash my own hair. The girls at Primp and Blow took care of me. Got a lovely head massage during my wash and the gal that blew my hair out was so sweet, I really enjoyed my first time here and will definitely come back for a relaxation day with my girlfriends!

Great customer service, timely in and out. , On site owner that knows her customers and even recognizes and assists lost dad's. And my daughter's hair looked great after a week of only dad and the kids at home.

I recommend Primp and Blow to anyone who comments on my hair. I've been coming to see Bri for 4 years now every Monday without fail and my hair is always perfect and so much healthier than it ever was before I started coming. My hair stays clean and perfect so I don't buy any hair products anymore because I only have to come once a week. In the end I'm sure I save money by not having to buy all these expensive hair products. I've tried other blow out salons prior to primp and blow and none were near as good. New ownership, terrible service, lack of customer focus. I have been a long standing customer of P&B and recently the Grayhawk location has struggled to uphold the service standards before the franchiser sold it to a new operator. Appointments are constantly mis booked causing wait times, stylist turnover is much higher and newcomers are not as experienced. Finally they nickel and dime for "extras" which weren't charged before. There are tons of styling shops, do yourself a favor and avoid this location until things change. ... read more
