The staff is HORRIBLE. UNPROFESSIONAL. RUDE. NASTY. The homes are not in the best condition moving.

Extremely unprofessional and unresponsive. After my first year living in the home they raised our rent 11%. This was not a concern until the next year when we signed our third lease. Three months later a debt collection department called me to collect thousands worth of “missed payments” for Progress. I didn’t understand how this was the case as we had the correct rent amount auto drafting every month. ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! The houses are highly expensive but VERY CHEAPLY BUILT. If you put in a service request. They just simply won't show up. They have no issue raising the rent every year but when they need to actually fix something, they'll pretend to schedule people to show at your house - but no one will show. It's the 3rd time someone was supposed to show up because of an electrical issue and was an no show. PROGRESS RESIDENTIAL - YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!

Update: I just saw the house we were suppose to move into back on their website. The price had increased, and it says move in ready. It is move in ready by June 14th. Same date as the new house we choosed. They told us the house would not be ready until june 23rd or at latest july. Seems very suspicious to me and downright unprofessional for them to delay our move because they wanted to increase the price!! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. If I could give less I would. Tired of the bs and run around. I have been trying to renew my lease since the beginning of September and they messed it up and have decided to stop responding to my calls and emails. I may edit my review once they actually fix these issues.

Beware of this company, especially if you see their "for rent" signs in your neighborhood or they manage a home you own. They clearly do not vet tenants and are non responsive when confronted about tenants who bring police activity, drug use, criminal behavior, and property abuse to a home and the surrounding neighborhood. It's clearly about just getting a body in a house with them but service and being entrusted with people's property calls for more than just that.

The property manager from my area literally cannot even return a phone call. We are breaking our lease due to this and going with someone reliable!

I’ve rented from Progress for two years and I suggest that if you are considering this company to run as fast as you can away from them. Please do your research. Look into “Wall Street landlords”, request to be added to “Residents of Progress Residential” on FaceBook...please pay attention to people’s concerns and think twice about giving this company your money. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE FROM RENTING THROUGH THIS COMPANY! Now on day 5 of NO AC! I’m so confused how an EMERGENCY SITUATION can take so long to fix! The only reason I was brought out “portable units” was due to my first review. They brought 2 units, improperly installed them and left. This is basically NO RELIEF for a four bedroom home. I have two children with asthma and these conditions are not good for them! I went out and purchased two fans and its still ridiculously hot.
