25 minutes to get drinks. (There were maybe 4 people at the bar and 5 tables total, so not a busy time). Water never showed up at table. Sent a drink back for a different. 20 minutes go by then get asked “oh, they asked me if you wanted salt on the rim and I couldn’t remember”. Ten more minutes drink arrives. Now an hour into meal and finally got a drink to go with the dinner that had arrived some 15 minutes earlier than second drink. Took 20 minutes for server to come back with check. I’m not really sure what would have made this better, but something was lacking. The food was okay, the service was outstanding. I guess for the price, I expected to be knocked over with the taste and I wasn’t. Again, it wasn’t bad, I just won’t be going back.

Food was fantastic, service 0k and the ambiance was actually bad. For that price point need to improve the physical experience

Provision is one of our favorites however this dinner with friends was not our best experience there. We had a friendly server but bar and food service was very, very slow. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their selection but waiting for our drinks and dinner was below what we usually experience. Provision is a favorite for many and it was very busy. The noise makes it had to have a conversation.

Provisions has always been my go to place but this time my experience was so bad. Food took forever to come. Our server was super slow. We had to ask for refills, had to wave home down every time we needed anything.
The staff is great, and the atmosphere is as well. I was really disappointed in my meal. There was so much fat and bone, and excess onions that there was hardly any meat or sweet potato puree. Very disappointing as our waitress highly recommended it. The dessert was wonderful, which somewhat made up for the meal. We love Provision, and this is the first time I have experienced a poor meal, so will go back again and order from my usual selections.

We went here for the Devour menu and unfortunately had one of our worst dining experiences in Indy. This restaurant seems to want to be high scale but the food does not match up to it. We were excited to come here based on the menu but the execution of dishes was very poor. Salmon was flavorless and the presentation of dishes was odd or messy. We ordered cocktails and basically got slushies - and ended up paying $200 total. Absolutely terrible food, except for the dessert. Would not recommend coming here.
