Not a good place for a date. Many of the tables for two are in a bad location right next to the kitchen with overly bright lights that leaves us staring at piles of napkins, plates and glasses. We asked to move but they said the “better” tables had been reserved. Next time i will specify a “better” table not by the kitchen on Open Table or arrive as a group not for date night. The night started with a hostess too busy on the phone to greet us for several minutes. We were then seated in between the kitchen and the bar right next to the door for the bar. Very noisy and high traffic. My entree was almost all fat, I told the waitress and she just responded ok. That is not ok. What was supposed to be a leisurely enjoyable dinner was a rushed 25 minute bad experience. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Provision. Horrible experience.
Provision has trouble (2nd time) with reservations through OpenTable.
I did not appreciate the service. Was treated like a second-grade citizen.
Too noisy to talk across the table
Our server was not attentive at all! We waited more than 5 minutes to be greeted and told he would be with us shortly. Although we were there to celebrate two birthdays, there was never an acknowledgement by any staff member until I made a comment that was overheard and was told dessert was on them. Glasses and plates were not cleared in a timely manner...he commented that we looked like were finished which we confirmed, yet our dirty plates remained on the table another 10 minutes. Service needs improvement badly, been there at least 10-12 times and service only gets worst.
