Our rainy Saturday night out was saved by a wonderful dinner at provision! Adam, our server, was attentive and great at recommendations. The best short rib I have had in quite some time and the orange chocolate tart was something I had never experienced before, but can’t wait for a repeat! it is very open, concrete floors, and therefore very loud, so take that and consideration if you go on a busy night. But the food and service were outstanding.
I found out about Provision last year through Devour & my wife loved it. I thought it would be a perfect place for her birthday get-together with family & friends. None of our guests had ever been to Provision before & since Devour was going on, it was a perfect time for them to get a sample of what Provision had to offer. Always great, food , drinks and service. They really do make you feel special
Food was fine. Not spectacular. Service was efficient and impersonal and cold. Waiter had zero personality. Nobody was really friendly or positive- no “thank you for coming “ from anyone. The most contact I got from Provision was 2 texts and a phone call to make sure we were coming. Made me want to never go back.
Salads great, entrees wonderful. Corn soup needs more corn and taste, rather bland. Shrimp bisque was great!
Excellent as always! I’ll even rate value as excellent since we were here for Devour Indy and had a gift card to use. The shrimp bisque had delicate and tender small whole shrimp. The filet was received a perfect medium rare. Their featured red wine glass of Trefethen cab was worth it and paired well with the filet as well as Scallop & Short Rib. The scallop with maple Dijon sauce my fave. Basque cheesecake was a unique dessert.
Food was excellent! We went for Devour Indy and the selections and portions were very good. I ordered the Grow salad, the short rib and scallop and the cheesecake for dessert. Service was slow to start but once we ordered food came out quickly. Overall a good experience and would definitely go back.
