Jammed I put batteries in the label maker inserted the ink cartridge and closed lid I tried to print something and it completely jammed. When I tried to take the cartridge to see what happened it ripped the tape. I never even got on label printed
No Power Cord! Yes, it says this on the box, but how cheap can a company be to not include a power cord! This is really shameful. The printing could be a lot clearer than it is. Dot Matrix is a sign of the 1980s. Look it up...labels should not appear as though they were printed on a Dot Matrix printer! Overall...blah.

Brother P-Touch PTD400 Desktop Label Maker I'm looking for a simple label maker that can print 2- lines on 3/4 " tape-like I've had for years. I don't want a label maker that makes dozens of options. Apparently they don't make simple ones anymore. So, if you can't make them simple, can you at least provide instructions that can be read without a microscope?
Very User Unfriendly The older model of this device was so easy to use. Not this newer version and the user manual is no help at all.
Way too complicated Would not recommend the brother p-tough label maker.
Waste tape No way to prevent wasting tape while printing a small label. Tapes are expensive.
