Despite claims of it's website, it was not compatible with our computer. We had 3 different tech folks try to make it work and it never did. It may be a good label maker if it works, but for us it was money down the drain.
Good Label Maker but... The Brother PT-D400 Label Maker is great, but it does not come with an adapter which is 24.99 and up. Buying the label maker on sale basically makes it the original price after you have to purchase the adapter. You can use batteries, but that adds up to unfortunately.
Incomplete machine I read the reviews and ordered the label maker. It came without a power cord. I consider this a product that was incomplete. On the side of the box It says to consider purchasing the power cord. While ordering, this option never came up, so of course I believed it would obviously come with it. Companies who require separate purchase for an obviously necessary item for functioning are playing games with their customers. I didn't appreciate it.
Brother PT-D400 review This label maker is very easy to use and I like the ability to change font size and font style. I look forward to trying the various tapes made for this machine.
Does not deliver as promised The machine did not respond to the command when entered. Slow and hesitant. Also, too many choices too try to decide on characters.

poor product info I rapidly jammed machine and returned. Diagrams hard to read they are so small. I suggest you give a youtube or other link with demo on how to set up and use. Also, there should be note on package saying a tape is included. I wouldn't have bought extra till I knew how to used it.
