it wastes a lot of tape/label it wastes a lot of tape/label, at the beginning. the changing the font is really confusing. I find that it is difficult to use. I should have stuck with my orig one (Epson) I got 2yrs ago that got left behind when I moved, but this one seemed to have more bells and whistles.
The Font sizes I needed.... Thanx to another customer telling me that this label maker did have the 24 and 36 font size, which is what I was looking for, using the 18mm/0.7" tapes, just like I use at work. And, while waiting for an answer, the price went down!! Win-win!!
Not as pictured. This seemed like just what I needed from the picture. In my opinion the screen seemed larger in the photo shown in the description. Because I have optical issues, I needed a larger screen. I would like to return it but unfortunately the return limit is up.
Disappointed Served the purpose but not having backlit screen makes it very difficult to see what you are about to print. With the price of the tape, I can't afford mistakes. Why Brother would market this without a backlit screen is a mystery to me. Disappointed. Plan to return.
One Star I love it it does great labels
It worked when I just bought it. I used ... It worked when I just bought it. I used it 5 times then put it away in my office table. Today 6 month later it doesn't go on.

Waste of money This is a waste of money. Failed on the first day. Tape gets jammed repeatedly
Upon putting in the cartridges after opening the unit. ... Upon putting in the cartridges after opening the unit .. Two out of three were eaten by the label maker. The technical services people could not figure it out.... Lost both cartridges...
