Works Well Works great and meets my needs. Like many others I do wish it could have smaller margins, but honestly for the price, this label maker meets my needs just fine. I buy 3rd party replacement tapes, which are much cheaper than the official Brother tapes and have had no issues with them.
A very good labelmaker I had access to a five-thousand dollar vinyl labelmazer at work, till I retired. Bought this because it was inexpensive, has loads of different tapes, and is simple to use. No complaints at all.
Life. Changed. Love the label maker and the ability to make labels to organize my life. I would give it SIX stars, but removing two for two big cons for me: 1. It does not retain the alignment settings after power off (if you align label to the right and cut the excess to keep labels shorter) 2. It uses WAY too much white space when aligning the label to the right. I get it though, wasting tape = more tape sold, so there is an incentive to NOT do this for Brother. pain to set up Easy to use but a pain to set up and I had to get different cartridges as the one that came with broke on first use. I now use off brand cartridges in it which work much better.
