Nice little printer. Nice to be able to print on 1 inch wide tape. A bit awkward to change tapes because the side hinges from the center of the bottom so you basically have to lay it on it's side. Shorter labels sometimes don't want to slide out after cutting. It does power itself off after a time even when plugged into AC so you do need to hit the power button on it, but at least any job you've sent does seem to get queued and will print once you turn it on.
Very nice, I have two. Very cool labels because of the ability to add custom graphics. This allows for small quantity manufacturing labels that look professional.
Good Machine, Bad Software Disk software didn't load
It waste a lot of dispenser tape It waste a lot of dispenser tape. The border is limited, Was using this for labeling my essential oil rollers and others. The tape is pretty costly so wasting a lot of the tape is not a good thing. Anyway, it is cute, compact, portable, and encourages you to label everything at home!
Works well with a Mac I use an iMac running Sierra 10.12.5 and this Label Maker connected and ran flawlessly. It was just a plug and play installation. It can run on it's plug- in power supply or use AA batteries. The software for writing the label's is intuitive and easy to use. I've had other makes of Label Makers and I was just not happy with them. Mostly because they didn't work well with my Mac and the writing software was clumsy to use.
Great printer, easy to use! There are some reviews here that look at this thing as incredibly complicated or a pain to set up. It is neither of these, and was actually quite easy to set up. Using my Windows 10 machine, I first went to the Brother P-Touch website and downloaded the full software drivers and installation package. this one is great. My old one finally gave up, this one is great.
Easy to use, great labels With minor tweaking of the settings I was able to avoid the wasted tape so many have complained about. It was easy to setup and and install as well as make my first labels which all look like great quality.
