It's a nicely designed unit and cute small The PT-P700 is attractive printing device both in office and at home. It's a nicely designed unit and cute small, it match well on the desk or in the shelf. Set up this device is very easy, software are good to use and save time. Also direct print from Excel and Word also available, though it takes a time while for space calculation Bad news for Brothers, but the compatible tape is reliable and print well, so far now.
Precisely good enough for operational work, not for professional presentation This is a very nice labeler for a business, however it is best suited to "behind the scenes" uses such as labeling files, storage, ect. The resolution on this label printer is not very high-quality and lines are often visible. For the price, this is a great buy, however do not expect to wow your clients with your custom labels, because they don't achieve this level of quality.

Brother PT-P700 works well Nice printer, editor takes getting use to, but can be figured out without much difficulty. I used Win7 and did not have any problems using it. Came with A/C adapter so I haven't tested using batteries. Does eject a 1" piece of material at beginning of each print label operation. Haven't yet found a way around this but is likely due to location of print head and cutter. (put a few labels together when printing so you waste less label material.)

Great product, label too wide the label is to wide for me and i didn't take it into consideration.. it would be nice if i could change the width of the label. overall - awesome product.
