Works great with the Mac. Will only use TZe tapes. Excellent machine. I have read very little about using this with a Mac. But what I HAVE heard from other reviews, made this a painless experience for me. I have a Macbook Pro running Yosemite, 10.10. And this machine works flawlessly ONCE YOU TURN OFF THE Plite button on the top. That thing defaults to on when first plugged in. I like this over the handheld labelers so far I like this over the handheld labelers so far!! It really looks nice on your desk (with our matching Brother printer too!) It prints nice, its quick, fairly quiet to operate. The cartridges are very easy to take out to replace. If you need to print a lot and don't necessarily need a handheld, than this the labeler for you!

Best label maker that I have owned Works really well. I replaced my old Dymo printer at work with one of these. I liked it so much that I bought another for home. Easy installation and it just works
good printer, but needlessly prints and wastes labels for no reason i like this printer, but there are 2 very big flaws that i have not been able to get past. the first flaw is that when it goes into power save mode, i have to press the button on the printer to wake it up. the software that was included will not do this when i go to print something, it only works if i manually wake it up. the second flaw, and this is a BIG one, is that i typically print 2.5"-3" labels. before every label is printed, the printer feeds a 1 1/2... read more
