Great device once you get it to work Setup instructions could be better. Brother tech support left us on hold for 45 minutes before we gave up. Once set up, it's awesome.
Five Stars Good, but waste paper.
Fast...Fast...Fast...Oh Yeah and Easy to Use This is the best label maker for fast printing of labels for outdoor use. It's not limited to that but we use for printing time results for marathons which we attach to folders,etc. It has a built-in cutting features so as soon as the label comes out it is cut and ready to apply. Brother also has a template library you can go and download really cool templates to use for different requirements or situations. Amazon got it to me in 3 days event though I'm not a Prime member!

Three Stars Instructions seem more complicated than necessary.
Works, But Wastes Tape - Badly The device works. Spits out those labels quite quickly too, and having a PC UI to create lables is a whole quantum leap over fooling around with a standalone keyboard-driven printer like the Brother P-Touch that this one replaces. Having said that... Tape for these things is not cheap. For instance "TZE141 - TZe Standard Adhesive Laminated Labeling Tape, 3/4w, Black on Clear-BRTTZE141 ranges from a merely expensive $17 on Amazon to a ludicrous $28 at my local Staples in Paoli PA. Works well, nice selection of label sizes. I recently purchased a bunch of 4-way home automation switches, and I needed to print up some clear labels for the buttons. This fit the bill perfectly. They have a wide range of label sizes available, so I was able to find one small enough to fit. I find it easier to layout and type up labels on my PC rather than a dedicated standalone label maker, so this was the best option for my needs.
Very good label printer Very good label printer. Decent software, and easy to use. Only negative is how much tape it adds on to the ends of the label.
