Satisfied with upgrade I have a previous version of this label printer (PT-P700) and recently upgraded into this one. After using it for several weeks, I felt it is a great upgrade. Love it Don't waste our money on that useless cube - but this printer - excellent. I needed the ability to upload a file and to print thousands of bar coded labels - works great. Buy the non-brother tapes and this is a great cost-effecive solution

Awesome For I.T. Needs I saw a subcontractor make quick and lite work of labeling IT equipment on a new construction. My other Brother desktop/portable printer just died after 9 years of printing abuse and had to have this unit. I suggest you get the battery brick to make it rechargeable and portable, but even without it, regular batteries work very well and it doesn't drain them too quickly. Great Label Printer Printed out all our SKU and barcode labels with no issue 5 minutes out of the box, you do have to go find the software program they dont make it easy on you but its on the site.
Good, but a pain in the butt The instruction are awful beyond reason. It's not clear that you can only use WPS to connect it to your access point (and it disconnects after a while); without WPS, it will create its own network which you can... sometimes? connect to. If you want to change the password of this WiFi network, you have to download a utility from their website and do it over USB.
