Got approved fast. Brought the proper documents in pay stub, bank info, license etc. Fast easy process BUT after words I got some mail from then stating that I'd signed up for 5 different insurance policies they offer such as auto, term life etc. None of which I did.. she told me about them but never told me I would be paying for them just that they offered it. Excellent Odds of Dinging Your Credit More Credit Karma's fault. Was given "Excellent" approval odds. Was rejected with a 677 Transunion and it was a hard hit, costing me several points (now at 663). Thanks.
Absolute ripoff This loan is,a high interest loan with very high loan fees up front. Unless you are desperate, pass these people up. I took a loan out to buy a camping trailer. It was a 4 year loan. I had the loan open for 1 year. Very little money went to principal. Out of over $2400 dollars paid to onemain, less than $800 went to the principal. When I went to pay off tjis loan, my account said I owed about $5100. When I called the representative statwd my psyoff was actually $5222! I was glad to unload this loan 3 years ea... read more
Approved for 2000 unsecured called office and stated I needed collateral such as a car title.
Deceptive On the home page, it states that your odds of obtaining credit is highly likely when in fact it is not. The inquire and obtain so much personal information simply to tell you no. Do not bother with them and move on to alternative ways to improve your credit.
IM TRYING TO BRING MY CREDIT UP FASTER AND IN THE 600 AND SOMETHING AND THE DENIED MY APPLICATION ONLY HAVE A AMOUNT 1500.00 TO BRING PAY EVERYTHING ON MY CREDIT VERY DISSAPOINMENT
Didn't disclose collateral. Credit Karma said I had an EXCELLENT chance at being approved, but Credit Karma only deals with Equifax and Transunion. So what happened? OneMain checked Experian during a dispute period so my offer was a high interest and a car for collateral. NOTHING was mentioned that I would have to offer up a vehicle for collateral so now I have a hard hit on my credit.
