It's supposed to be brand new? It looks like someone opened the original packaging before. When I plug in the USB in back of the printer, it feels loose. Printer does look new and it does print.

New to me. Doing its job so far. You have to power it up if there is any sizable time between print jobs. Everything else has been easy and handy.
fast printing once it's set up, it's great. set up was somewhat awkward. after trying one, we bought 2 more.
perfect I'm so glad I found this label printer. I didn't even know Brother had a label printer. DYMO printers are always pushed when you search for a label printer. I initially purchased a DYMO 550, when I say that is the worst label printer ever!!! 2 printers later, multiple support calls, and it still wouldn't work. But this QL800!!!! Installation was easy, software great, worked perfectly! I love Brother products and I wish I would have found this first.
Easy to use Excellent work
Able to import my SQL Server data made this a great purchase. I have a database in SQL Server for my wife's Holiday card mailings. We had been using a spare printer for printing labels, but that printer finally failed. Doing research and finding that the Ql-800 could import the data made the decision easy. Connecting to the database server and selecting the view that contains the names/addresses was easy.
