Regret this purchase I regret this purchase. Label printer is very primitive. The document size must be EXACT to be able to print and must match the label settings configured in the printer and the type of roll present in the printer. You would expect that a continuous label roll of the same width (62mm) would not need so much change in configuration but you need to setup the printer all over again even if you make a minute change such as printing from another computer or switch Wi-Fi. Absolutely absurd.

Thank you for your review. The document and printer driver will need to be configured to match the size of the label that is loaded in the QL-810W. This will need to be done on each computer that you are wanting to print from. Changing the wireless network will not affect the document or driver settings, but the QL-810W’s wireless settings would need to be set to connect to a different wireless network. Least user friendly tool i have ever seen Its a royal pain to setup. When you connect to the wifi to your phone an go through this weird password process, why would you need a password, like is someone going to steal my label maker. Once connected it never redirects to the Home Wifi network to set the printer to wifi. When you look at the phone after connecting it just sets there and spins saying "your device is connecting with 'QL-810W'. Whatever you do, do not buy this for labels This printer is absolutely horrible. Purchased with the intent of printing shipping labels through usps for e-commerce and has been an absolute nightmare, the quality is terrible. I repeat DO NOT BUY.

Hard to set up in a Mac, worst costumer service A nightmare to use with a mac, so I won’t recommend it for apple users. Once you are done setting up the printer, you will have to do many adjustments manually every time you print. On too of that, Brother costumer service sucks. I had to watch hours of YouTube tutorial and read blogs to be able to set up this printer. Not recommended
Avoid Does not work in black/white printing properly and the driver has glitches that require reinstall every couple months. This will stop your business operations and require IT support at inconvenient times. Windows 10

Extremely hard to use. HORRIBLE software The software is impossible to use and make sense of. Do not believe their claims of it being easy to use. All I want is to simply print address labels and this has 8,000 types of templates, none of them make sense. I have the continuous roll and it forces you to only be able to print one direction so its incredibly disorienting to use. Its constantly falling off the network, even with static IP, if its not off the network it claims it is in "error status" but provides ZERO information... read more

Convenient with ISSUES w Laser barcodes galore I ordered this to make laser scanable prices for a gift shop. Over 50% of the time it prints the bars too thick and they do not scan. The pic on my screen and preview do not match the print out. Dozen hours trying to fix...NOPE NO FIX
Only used it once Haven't set up the network connection yet... been to busy to plan to spend the necessary time to get it right.
