Applying and qualifying for loans is one of the few downsides to being self-employed. Regardless of one's credit worthiness or business success, the process itself can be particularly tedious and require excessive amount of paperwork. If you’re looking for a lender, Michael should be your first choice! From the beginning and the end of the home buying process, Michael was beyond helpful. He went above and beyond to help my wife and I through the home buying process. Even when certain issues arose, he assured my wife and I everything would work out, and it did! Carlos and his amazing team at Academy Mortgage, Kristen and Megan, were extremely helpful with my refinance. Carlos walked us through every step of the process, he was very responsive and answered every question we had. The entire process went smoothly and we were kept updated throughout everything.
