If you try to renew a debit card before the expiration date and you get a new card they shut down the new card. "It's policy" to re-activate old cards even after 3 weeks of using a new card. They also "sent out" a second card which never came(14 business days after it was ordered). Claimed it was because my apartment number was not included in my address. Which explains how I get statements every month AND received the first replacement card, but OKAY. You guys need to seriously get with the times and make your debit cards ... read more

They may as well be considered a big bank because of their terrible practices. I've been with other credit unions in the past that actually appreciate their members. I hate Redstone Federal Credit Union.
Recently came into a substantial amount of money due to an inheritance. I was excited about switching to a credit union and decided on RFCU. I called 4 different locations only to be on hold for literally 15 minutes at each one. No one ever answered. Will be taking my business and my money elsewhere.

First off, I only have a savings and checking account with RFCU. I do no other business with them so I cannot review anything else. First off, for those whining about the time it takes to get a replacement card, well what do you expect? They have to make the dang card for you with your information on it and attach the new number to your account. Then it has to be mailed. They don't send their private unicorns to make deliveries because you misplaced or had your card somewhere vulnerable. The unicorn is for CEOs only.... read more
