I had Renters Warehouse managing a rental townhome. The good, they collect rent and pay out timely each month. Their bookkeeping and end of year reporting is good and timely. The bad, their actual property management is awful. They have a stable of handyman that they send out for everything and do not evaluate issues and send the proper contractor which often times results in shoddy repairs or more waiting to get the appropriate contractor. Do not use this company as an owner. They will bleed you dry. $50 for keys, 350 for a faucet. Endless emails and texts trying to get money back. Stay away, read the rest of the reviews. Use a realtor. Renting is all this company does and they need to find revenue streams to keep them going between leases
The McLean office is NOT ACCREDITED BY BBB. They have an F rating! Northern VA website says A rating. False advertisement. Renters Warehouse NOVA/DC locations are run by Scholl, Inc. THEY ARE THIEVES and will take as much money from you as possible! DO NOT TRUST THEM! Please reference the picture as it is photographs of a letter I sent my leasing agent following a tour of a property. They put a lock box on the condo and showed the condo in this condition and then repetitively pressed me to sign a lease because 'we are working hard to meet all of your concerns'. As if they are busting their butt to appease me? This condo would not pass city codes or basic landlord health requirements. This is the worst rental agency I have ever experienced. They took 10 weeks to replace our broken oven. TEN WEEKS!! The apartment was no where near move in ready, they never painted the apartment before move in (which they said they were) and they do not follow up on maintenance requests. I have had half finished bathroom tile in my bathroom for the entire time I've lived here (6 months). My roommate has had a leaky faucet the entire time. After 5 months of living with Renter's Warehouse I can confidently say that they are simply the worst. Nothing ever gets fixed, and I'm convinced everyone who works there is either incompetent or simply lazy. I'm currently living with blinds that are broken on my sliding glass door, allowing everyone walking by to see into my apartment (feels very unsafe), a broken sink garbage disposal causing my apartment to reek, a broken bathroom towel holder (fell off the wall, taking some of the wall with it), and there are holes in my... read more
Wish I could give this company a zero. Don't waste your time or money using them for property management. You won't see a profit for 2 months they don't communicate with tents or owners. Every call goes to voicemail and the agents are wannabe licensed real estate agents. Go to a reputable property manager for quality service.
I own a rental property in Maryland and the unprofessionalism of this property management company is mind blowing. Everyone in the office is "nice" and appears to be helpful, but nothing ever gets done. If I could give this place ZERO stars... I would. From a tenants point of view this place is GOD AWFUL. I have been without hot water now for almost two weeks and I have a 2 year old daughter. You call them to come fix a problem and they never actually FIX the problem, they just do a quick assessment and give you a BS excuse.
