Awesome The bathtub was rather older and scratched but clean. Gorgeous location and quiet place. We could sit outside to watch the sunset. Close to the Ouray city. There is also small restaurant with some food choices for dinner and lunch. Alcohol beverages also available. Outside of the motel there is a small smoothie place. Awesome place for reasonable prices.

Thanks for your feedback. Glad you had an opportunity to enjoy the Star Saloon and Rankies Smoothie - Snack Bar. The Star Saloon has been open just 1 year and Rankies just 2 months. The new hotel ownership purchased the hotel in July 2018, renovated the lobby, public areas, and upgraded some of the room bathtubs and all the hotel linens/terry along with a variety of amenities. Full room renovations are planned for the near future including more bathtub upgrades... We hope to host you again in the near future! Adam
Nice room for the price would stay again. The hot tub was down but i understand things happen. Great views from to room comfy bed n tasty breakfast burrito.

Everything I could of wanted in a lodge! Came for three nights for my boyfriends birthday.. and it was everything we could have wanted in a lodge.. cozy mom and pop type feel.. great small bar and kitchen with great selection of beers and drinks and bar food which also served breakfast burritos and coffee with your stay, friendly and helpful staff... basic rooms but everything you could need microwave and mini fridge and tv, plus the bed was comfy, views are great! Good place to stay We liked the picnic area, the bar and restaurant (pizza, salad...) in the hotel. Nice attention in the room (chocolate and candy) and free pop corn. Good uncommon grab & go breakfast (burritos). The inside pool and whirlpool were open but cold. The sauna was good. Lots of dogs in this hotel but they didn’t bother us.
