Excellent food and service. Will definitely return!
This was our first visit back since they had remodeled the restaurant and brought in a new chef. WOW. Fantastic meal. Our party of 4 had four different entres and everyone was thrilled. We had been there years ago and were so disappointed we had not been back until now. We will not stay away long now!
I had the pasta with duck ragu. Probably the best dinner I ever had. The wine was perfect and I received a free desert as we were celebrating our anniversary. The staff was very nice and attentive. We will be back.
Ristorante Bartolotta is our favorite restaurant in the city. We've been going there since it opened in 1993, and have ALWAYS had great food and great service. We enjoy all the Bartolotta restaurants but this one is very special.
It was delicious. Had the special ear pasta appetizer w brocollini. The brocolinni was very over cooked and almost mushy. That dish was not that flavorful. The veal was fantastic. Wine as well.
Italian soda cocktails and caprese appetizer was wonderful. The rigatoni with eggplant was great. The pappardelle with duck was very very salty and very disappointing. Servers were very polite though and offered to make a new pappardelle but we just were not optimistic about it getting better second time around.
The food was amazing. We recently traveled to Italy and this was the first meal that’s even compared. I would recommend it to anyone. A little pricey but well worth it.
Ristorante Bartolotta is a Milwaukee institution. It still has a certain place in our hearts. But, compared to other options now available in the city, it just doesn't hold up. We had a nice dinner with outstanding service. The room was very noisy - which is fun, but also distracting. I expect that much noise in a sports bar, not an upscale place. The food was good but nothing remarkable. Still a nice place, but dated.
The atmosphere in tosa outside the door is alive and vibrant on a Friday evening. Bustling, young, comfortably crowded. Inside Ristorante, the crowd was mixed and the staff was superb. Smiles, friendly conversation from all the staff, a simple and clean menu with ample choices and a single special with a recommendation to include a seasonal fresh veggie in the meal somewhere. Great food, great timing, great execution. Well done
