We were treated to flutes of prosecco upon arriving to celebrate our anniversary; I had told them what we were celebrating when making our reservation. Food was amazing. Melt in your mouth calamari. Homemade bread. Savory duck ragu, house speciality. Tables are close to one another but not intrusive. Feels like being in Italy.
Everything was top notch! Very welcoming staff and great service. Food was great too!
Our dining party consisted of two couples. My entree was delicious, as was the entree for the wife of the other couple. Both my wife's entree, and the entree of the husband of the other couple had too much salt and too much pepper. They were both disappointed with their entree. Service and ambience of your restaurant was exquisite - as usual.

Everything from start to finish was a first class and delicious. The service as attentive, but not overly so. Every plate we ordered was delicious. We had the Carpaccio for our appetizer. Beat salad and Caesar salads for the salad course and we had the duck ragu and veal cutlets for our main dishes. Each dish was amazing. We expected a great meal/evening and were not disappointed. It had been close to a year since we last ate at "the Risto". It wont be that long until we're back.
The food was great, as always. Tony is an excellent server!

From the moment we walked in - crisp and spotless - welcoming staff and table awaiting - perfect traditional cocktail - expansive and authentic menu - peer diners with similar expectations and celebrations -- and the food, oh yes, the food - beyond wonderful! Thanks for another very special evening!
We go here for significant events like our birthdays and anniversary or when we just want the best Italian food in Milwaukee. The food is always superb and although we are not big desert eaters, we can’t leave without having the tarimisu or caramel pudding.
