As always, every time we come here we’re reminded why this truly is the best restaurant in the Milwaukee area. Food, wine and service were exceptional per usual. No one does it better.

Everything was fine. We had a nice time. Food was great and everyone was accommodating.
We were celebrating my surgery the following morning. Was it wrong to order Italian Old Fashioneds as part of my prep? Perhaps, but what the heck. I did the best thing ever: appetizer portions of my two faves: pappardelle & garganelli. A double taste explosion. Best meal this summer, and we just ate at five high end restaurants fronting the lagoon in Cancun a week ago, and each was awesome. This was better. Thanks for the table! Amazing.
Ristorante Bartolotta is my favorite Italian restaurant in Milwaukee. The food and service are consistently excellent. I recommend it highly.
The restaurant was very noisy as a large table of 16 was living it up. I had asked for a more romantic table for our 50 anniversary and we were given a table next to the gangway into the kitchen. I asked to be moved and they put us in the gangway to the bathroom, very romantic, ugh. The food was average at way above average prices. I don't mind paying for an expensive meal if the food is special, the ambiance is subdued and the service is superb. One out of three doesn't cut it. This is the original Bartolotta Restaurant that started it all. If you have been to Italy, this place is just like eating there. Small, quaint, professional staff and excellent food. Homemade pastas, fresh fish and steaks all very good. I highly recommend this restaurant. Parking is an issue because of the neighborhood in downtown Wauwatosa.
