There was an annoyingly loud laugher at the table behind us above the level of what is acceptable that completely ruined any ambiance and dramatically tarnished our experience.
Just had dinner at Ristorante Bartolotta in Wauwatosa. Wanted to experience a Bartolotta restaurant! I thought the food was great, but the prices per portion where a little steep. Service was tremendous, and it was very clean. The restaurant was in a cute area, very vital, but the parking was tough. Had to park on street one block down. I am going to try Joey Gerards in Greendale next. Think there prices are little more reasonable.
We had a wonderful fine dining experience. Meghan and Peter were top notch. The wine list is extensive and the food was exquisite. The chef was featuring white truffles the evening if our dinner and they were fantastic.
The “Ribollita” was OUTSTANDING and a welcome treat to usher in the first cold snap! Our server Tony was very adept at explaining this Tuscan peasant soup and we were NOT disappointed. Spinach and ricotta ravioli with truffled butter and veal scallopine were excellent. Fine food, great service and a warm and cozy vibe.
Fabulous duck ragu pasta dish! Welcoming atmosphere. Excellent service.
The Brunello wine options are great!
