The unit is excellent - but the unit I was in bldg 14 Rm 1090 the sofa smelled like baby pee pee

50/50 With a late check-in we were given great instructions as how to obtain access with the office closed.The directions included got us to the right area of the resort but the wrong street. With the help of a map we managed to find our correct street and building.Once entering our room it felt dingy, and dated. Upon touring the room we discovered that the room we had booked is not what we received. We booked a 2 bedroom condo with a king, 2 singles, and a sleeper sofa. The word plantation is ommitted! Really feel duped. The word plantation was not on anything I read prior to booking. If I could have gotten a full refund I would have not stayed @ this "resort". The quarters had a musty odor and it had been only 3 days since it was inspected. The bed was not comfortable and the bedroom comforters & linens were drab and over worn, just not raggedy. Great price,bad beds! Nice place,the beds were terrible,woke up every morning with a backache. They need to change the mattresses to something comfortable!
Family fun weekend We came for family weekend for my daughter at coastal Carolina. We cancelled out original hotel reservations to stay at the river oaks and we were very pleased that we did. It's a great area and in a good location. We will plan on staying there again in the future.
Bad There was hair in the refrigerator....and all in the bathroom...disgusting...the beds were hard!!! Need new beds
Great Booking This was by far the best place we have rented in Myrtle Beach. This was more a timeshare/condo than a hotel, but was well worth it. I, along with my family were very satisfied with the "room" we had. We will definitely return.
