River Oaks Resort at Myrtle Beach We were very suprised when we arrived to our resort, after reading all other reviews. The place was very clean and nice. My family and I cooked breakfast one day and dinner the next and was very pleased that we had everything we needed. We will plan our vacation there again next year. The only negative thing I can say is that our room was not ready at check-in which is 3pm. It wasn't ready until 4:30 but overall everything was nice!!!!!
Ants Everything was fine but there were way to many ants in the kitchen.
Nice property Condo/apartment style property. Approximately 4 miles from beach. Not really near any restuarants. You will need all your own items such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Great place for large families. 3 bedroom unit can sleep up to 8 people. Great for price.
" Can't wait to go back" I was very pleased with the way they present themselves. It was nice and quiet. I paid close attention to their rules and guidelines. I would definitely recommend River Oaks Resort.
Rude front desk Everything was going great until 2 days before we were checking out, the water heater exploded at 1:30 AM and flooded the unit. I called the emergency line they sent maintenance down with four huge fans e a de-humidifier, they wanted to replace the water heater, remove the carpet and dry the water at 2:00 in the morning. I asked if they could move us to another unit but they were booked solid, then I asked if they could send us to a nearby hotel to spend the rest of the night while they fixed everything, they... read more
pretty good space, a lot of comforter that we could have usedbut we can't because it was not clean. when we arrived the carpet is wet because they said they just wash the carpet.
Value family getaway The resort was really nice. Close to highways and attractions.
