I made an appointment for my cats. I called on July 26 and made the appointment for August 19. I spoke at length with the front desk person about how I wanted to establish care in order to then obtain the appropriate travel certificates. It took until AUGUST 13 for someone to call and reveal that they lied and do not offer that service. This is completely unacceptable. They cost me weeks in a complicated process for no reason. After using River Road Pet Clinic for over 20 years,I was shocked when I called to bring in my dog for an emergency and was given an appointment for two weeks later. When I said I wanted the Doctor to call me ,I was told the Doctor did not return calls. I was then told to go to an emergency pet clinic. I found another veterinarian and will not be returning.
I have a dog that is limping, and I have already taken him to the emergency vet twice and have been give normal X-rays and a bottle of NSAIDS for my trouble and my $850. This is the third time he's limping and I have no answers. These guys kindly offered me an appointment next Tuesday or Wednesday for my dog in pain, instead of seeing him before this holiday weekend.
