Check in was easy and quick. Room was ready and clean. My problem is how the hotel and casino staff handled the problems caused by a major storm. While they were not able to control the weather and subsequent power outage, their communication with guests in the casino at the time and with those staying in the hotel was not good. I would have expected such an organization would have procedures for emergencies such as this in place. Great Hotel Check in went well and the gentleman that checked us in was very knowledgeable and informative. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. The lobby/casino area was smoky as others have stated, but our room on the 3rd floor had none of the smoke smell.

Clean casino hotel Friendly, efficient check in and out. Room quiet, bed comfortable. Easy access to I20. Great views of Mississippi River. Would stay again.

Nice! The room was very nice, updated and clean with a great view of the Mississippi. The bed was very firm and comfortable. No issues at all, except the bedside lamp didn’t work. The toilet needs replacing as it’s actually “peeling” inside the bowl! ( never saw THAT before). I was disappointed there was no valet, as I have a mobility scooter, but understand why it’s weekends only. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside of my short stay was losing money.

It’s cheap for a reason I understand it was a hotel/casino however, the smell of air freshener smacked you in the face all throughout the place. The casino allows smoking and it smelled like they were trying too hard with no luck to cover it up. The room was ok. Not the cleanest. We didn’t go for the casino but just as a one night getaway. The room was cheap and I’m grateful for that but I guess you get what you pay for. The restaurant on site was awful. The food for dinner was low quality and everything tasted microwaved. Not usual stay Room was nice enough but the elevator was out and we had to stay on a floor where the staff could escort us through the staff elevator. Also there was no refrigerator.
