I visited last week and was the only customer in store when I arrived. I walked around browsing shoes and apparel for about 10 minutes before anyone ever came out of the back to assist me. The assistance I received in selecting shoes was helpful. However, at checkout, the associate signed me up for the VIP rewards program for $20 without ever mentioning or explaining the program. Big shout out to Henry for all his assistance yesterday (2/27/22) in fitting me with new shoes. His knowledge was invaluable. He took his time to go through everything with me, yet I never felt pressured. He allowed me the time to explore the shoe choices he pulled (after listening to my wants/needs). Totally recommend Road Runner if you are looking for new shoes. They also have a great selection of other running related merchandise. A great experience all round. Hi Krissy, I just left tour store...as a matter of fact I'm across the street at REI... I am in town for work and looked up your store on google maps and made the 28 min walk over to your location. I wandered around looking for a bit...there was a table of young people in the back but it took some time for someone to talk to me...I informed them what I wanted and I was told to sit down at a bench buy the register... To preface this review: I am new to running marathons and have awful arch support coupled with various other feet issues. My trainer was adamant that I need a stability shoe or possibly a motion control shoe. From the beginning the visit was unpleasant. I felt pressured to do the Run Dog (RR Sport's custom insole creator). I am a huge fan of the SuperFeet insoles, which I told the attendant, and I would not be interest in completing the insoles diagnostic.
