Called Robertson Roofing on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 after hurricane "Debby" caused rainwater to leak into my garage ceiling.My call was promptly returned. I agreed to have my roof inspected the next day. Thursday, Robertson Roofing showed up on time. I think the man's name was "Dale". He climbed on my roof and inspected it. See above I had a long-standing leak associated with the flashing around my chimney. When Mr. Roberson came to my house, it had been raining for days and was continuing to rain. So in order to do the repair work the area had to be dried. This was accomplished with the use of blow torches. Once the area had been dried, the flashing was repaired. The owner and another person showed up the day I called and gave me the estimate. Started work the next day and finished up the following day. I did not have to be there for the work, which made it very convenient. Had water damaged wood on roof edge. Estimate was $400.00 but one shingles were removed more damage was discovered. Replaced all the damaged wood and made a metal cap to cover an exposed beam so water could not damage it again.
They were great. So far so good. Roberson Roofing Inc came out to do an estimate to replace our roof.
The process was quite simple, a call was made for an estimate. The estimate was done in minimal time and we agreed to have it done. Once the appropriate permit was acquired, a date was set for installation. The crew was prompt and efficient. The entire job was orchestrated and completed in one day with minimal disruption to daily life. We had our roof replaced...old shingles were removed, some repair to the roof was made for which we were not charged for, and the new roof was installed with weatherproofing.
Mr. Roberson came out and assessed the job gave a priceand told us what items he would possibly have to purchaseif he didn't have them in stock inhis warehouse. A couple of days later, he sent two of his workers to complete the job of replacing our roof cap. The work crew showed up at the agreed time and date.They stripped off the old roof into a dumpster and installed the new roof after doing minor repairs to a couple of soft spots that they showed me when discovered. All work was completed in a day. They originally gave me a time frame of two daysbut was able to complete the work in one day. Very satisfied with results. Bought a house that was built in the '50's. They were excellent, and they did a great job. The owners are Rick and Dale, and they are brothers. Rick came out to do the estimate. They provided samples of the roof and everything. I had other estimates over the phone, but he was more in my price range. They did a wind mitigation report for my insurance company at no charge. They are really nice people to work with. From my first call to their office to the actual visit and estimate, everything was very professional. James Roberson came out and gave me a much better price than I expected. He was very responsive and called the day before the appointment to confirm the time then called the day of the appointment to let me know he was in route. He explained what needed done. Great service!
