I’m a little disappointed right now. It’s not a big deal but my experience left me a little disheartened. I placed an order for pickup tonight for a small cheese pizza and a side salad with ranch with an extra ranch on the side for my pizza. I got home to discover that I was given some other dressing and then one thing of ranch. I wasn’t gonna go back and I wasn’t expecting them to do anything for me for it, but just wanted to share the feedback so that they could do better for the next person maybe. Ordered a 10" Chicago style pizza with extra cheese, Italian sausage and pepperoni. Here is what I got: 2lbs of canned diced tomatoes covering 1/4" of mozarella. The crust was soggy from the canned diced tomatoes and the complete lack of cheese was truly surprising. Chicago style, TRUE Chicago style has... a LOT of cheese. Asking for extra means at least a half inch to a full inch of cheese in a deep dish. The tomatoes on a true Chicago style pizza are typically vine ripened cherry (or hierloom). Our go-to for a great Chicago style pepperoni and pineapple pizza. Right in the neighborhood and in business for decades. Traditional - in a good way. They also have the best mozzarella sticks we’ve ever had, and the meatball sandwiches (three meatballs) are great. Highly recommend
The pizza was delicious as always. Staff was very friendly. Only downside was the lack of parking. Even though they have designated parking spots, someone else parked there as we were the only ones picking up our order.
Q: Why does the mushroom always get invited to pizza parties? A: Because he's such a fungi! Yooo! It's "I Love to Write Day!" Let's write! We recently got a takeout order for a 16" Rosati's Monster. A Rosati's Monster has gourmet Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, onion, green pepper, Canadian bacon, meatball, black and green olives with tomato and bacon on top.
