Our sheltie is 11 years old and had never been boarded until a few months ago. I was very nervous about leaving him somewhere, but he seems to really like going. I have noticed that he is much more socialable with dogs when he goes to the vet after the social play at Rover Oaks. We recently boarded him for 12 days and he did great. I am very pleased with the facilities, care, and grooming services!
I have only every had positive experiences with Rover Oaks. Our dog has attended daycare, participated in training classes, gotten groomed several times and stayed in pet lodging. Our dog has always been very well taken care of by the Rover Oaks staff. As a customer I have always been treated with respect and appreciation. I wholeheartedly recommend Rover Oaks to other dog owners. I know Rover Oaks may cost more than other options in the area but I found the peace of mind to be very worthwhile.

Our Golden Retriever has been a client of Rover Oaks for 15 years. If there were an option for six stars, she would certainly give it at least six! The personalized care and service are the best. What a great feeling to leave a pet and know that she is happy and well-cared for.
Our little Rocky, a Cairn Terrier, has been a loyal guest of Rover Oaks Houston’s since 2008 when he was but a puppy. He LOVES Rover Oaks and is always excited to walk in when we arrive there to greet his friends. He has no separation anxiety! He boards there several times during a year for periods of up to 21 days or so as he did during our trip to India. We had a great experience with puppy training and decided to expand and give a one-week Lodge & Learn a try while we were on vacation. Our pup, Josie, had a great time, learned a lot and was well cared for. We will definitely be back!
This place is the best! My rescue GSD attends day care and has been boarded several times. He is never anxious when I leave him and always happy and well adjusted when I pick him up. The Shed Control grooming is a must for anyone with a dog who sheds! The best and most professional employees- I wouldn't trust anyone else with him!

Rover Oaks has been our go to boarding option for several years. Our dogs have always been more interested in cuddle time vs active play and the staff has been great about spending the time with them. As our dogs have aged, Rover Oaks has done great job keeping up with the various medications and issues with older dogs. There has never been any problem getting our dogs to "go to camp" when we travel.
