Weekly my trash & recycle pickups have been on schedule with no misses. Even this AM the attendant waved to me as I watched out the window. Their customer service has always been excellent too when I have a question. The online bill pay is also perfect so my payment is on time. Their communication on holiday schedules or any other matters is so appreciated. Rumor exceeds my expectations!

My neighbor and I have a fun competition to see who can be the first to bring in each other’s bins—I’m running to her side while she’s racing to get mine. John and Todd always join in the fun with friendly encouragement. They even asked about my neighbor’s needs and offered to bring her bin up to the house when I’m not around. They have repitivly neglected to pick up our trash in ****, **
My grandmother, ******* *******, was Rumpke's account holder and died in July 2024. I was her financial POA and later assisted with her estate, but never assumed liability for her debts.After the estate closed in November 2025, I contacted Rumpke to close the account and provided her death certificate. Despite receiving it, ****** ****** continued trying to have me sign renewal contracts rather than discontinue service. Worst waste company we have ever dealt with! Would not show up on scheduled day and then want to charge us for an extra pick up when we asked them to honor that missed pick up. Waited over three weeks to pick up trash! Grade F!
If the trash can is damage by the trash collector, (lid missing) and they have to replace the whole trash, I believe a paying customer should NOT have to wait 7 to 10 days for a trash can replacement. Thats missing a week of trash pickup because of animals can break the plastic bags because of the missing lid.
The trash is picked up weekly. I have a Rumpke trashcan but often have more than what what we sit so I have been putting out my own personal additional trashcan. Over the space of two months Rumpke has dropped broken or ruined two perfectly decent, wheeled, lidded trash cans. When I called Rumpke, they say they werent reliable for breaking the trashcans, I told her I paid $450 a month for our farm plus the monthly fee for the house. She really didnt care. Our Trash pick up is every Thursday around 6:30-7:00am. I put my trash cans in the same spot every Wednesday night or Thursday morning. As I went about my day to do errands, I came back home and seen the curb was cracked with the trashcan right in front of it. So I reached out to them 1 before they opened that day but then again the next day. They took forever to give us a responce and got a letter in the mail saying they denied our claim because we had no evidence. They never asked for any. Mind you... this was a while ago.... read more
