They ignore yard waste regardless of it being a paid service, and charge extra when you have more than 3 bags the following week due to their lack of fulfillment. They also consistently ignore noise ordinance and come way too early (sometimes 5 and 6 am) which wakes up the whole neighborhood. Cincinnati in particular sucks - never had these issues with Columbus Rumpkee.
This company delivered the worst service I have ever experienced. We paid an extra $30 surcharge for a double door removal, yet they never completed the job. No one came to pick up the door, and there was no communication or follow-through. They took the money but failed to provide the service. Completely unreliable and unprofessional. Do not waste your time or money with this company.
My regular trash pickup was missed on Wednesday 6/4/25. I called about 6 times and was told it would be picked up Friday because a truck broke down. Well, it’s now Saturday 6/7/25, and the trash is STILL sitting there. I understand things happen, but I’ve been more than patient. A broken truck isn’t my problem—I pay for this service and expect it to be handled without having to chase anyone down all week. This lack of follow-through and communication is unacceptable. Do better.
Fighting with these people for 3 weeks now on what constitutes a recyclable bag or not when we have used the same recycle bags for 5 years now. All of sudden, they don't want to pick up our recycling anymore. Please just call California Waste Management for a comprehensive tutorial on recycling.
Let me start off by saying we were not going to go this route but after nearly a year of dealing with this, enough is enough. A family member of ours had passed and we needed a large trash dumpster in order to clear out their house of unwanted items. My wife spent time explaining to the Rumpke rep where we wanted the dumpster placed, however, it was placed in the most inconvenient place possible. This wasn’t even the main concern.
