Weekly my trash & recycle pickups have been on schedule with no misses. Even this AM the attendant waved to me as I watched out the window. Their customer service has always been excellent too when I have a question. The online bill pay is also perfect so my payment is on time. Their communication on holiday schedules or any other matters is so appreciated. Rumor exceeds my expectations!

I’d like to give a big thank you to John C******** and Todd M******* for their cheerful, kind, and professional service. My neighbor and I have a fun competition to see who can be the first to bring in each other’s bins—I’m running to her side while she’s racing to get mine. John and Todd always join in the fun with friendly encouragement. They even asked about my neighbor’s needs and offered to bring her bin up to the house when I’m not around. Such thoughtful and considerate service!

Review for Rumpke On June 1, 2026 I went to Rumpke Louisville Transfer Station, ****************************************** to dump trash. When I arrived at this company to drop off trash, After my car was weighed, I was instructed to leave my drivers license at the transaction booth. When I returned to the booth to pay for the service and the clerk processed my credit card I was informed by the clerk that she had given my license to the previous customer. A few years ago, I was residential refuse service customer of ***********. However, this company sold their business to Rumpke. When Rumpke started collecting our trash, they began missing our trash collection every so often. I would have to call customer service and let them know; they assured me that someone would be out to get it in the next day or two. As a company that has a monopoly on a service I suppose I can see how they don't worry about how good of a job they do. Rumpke does not care about providing quality service to the consumer in any way and is only concerned about how much they can charge by doing as little as possible to maintain the service being paid for. It is yet another example of a greedy corporation providing poor service for exorbitant rates.

If I could give 0 stars I would. How in the ****does the BBB have them as an A+ business when **** and ****** have them rated between 1 and 1.7 stars. They should be put out of business end of story. They steal money from customers and leave trash scattered all over when they empty dumpsters. Literally a joke.

The trash is picked up weekly. I have a Rumpke trashcan but often have more than what what we sit so I have been putting out my own personal additional trashcan. Over the space of two months Rumpke has dropped broken or ruined two perfectly decent, wheeled, lidded trash cans. When I called Rumpke, they say they werent reliable for breaking the trashcans, I told her I paid $450 a month for our farm plus the monthly fee for the house. She really didnt care. Our Trash pick up is every Thursday around 6:30-7:00am. I put my trash cans in the same spot every Wednesday night or Thursday morning. As I went about my day to do errands, I came back home and seen the curb was cracked with the trashcan right in front of it. So I reached out to them 1 before they opened that day but then again the next day. They took forever to give us a responce and got a letter in the mail saying they denied our claim because we had no evidence. They never asked for any. Mind you... this was a while ago.... read more
