My trash was not picked up on Monday. I called and they said it would be picked up within 48 hours, which would be Wednesday. It was still not picked up on Thursday morning. I called once again, and they said it would be picked up today. They still haven't picked it up. They drive by my trash can 3 times. I don't have room in my trash can to wait another 3-4 for them to pick it up. This isn't the first time this has happened. My trash can never moves. It stays in the same spot all week. In reviewing the previous posts regarding this company, little is left to be said! I love the comment toward the bottom from Rumpke instructing someone to call customer service. Their hands are tied regarding service issues. The upper management recently made a terrible decision to change the pickup day, our trash has not been picked up on the scheduled day for going on 6 weeks. If ********wasn't so ridiculously expensive, I would have already changed.
Disappointed with Rumpke Customer Service. I have been a loyal customer for 3 years and have no complaints about pick up. Due to price increases and fees, I decided to change to a local trash company who offers the same service for nearly 1/2 the price. This is ridiculous. Our dumpster hasnt been dumped for the second week now. Its completely full and I cant dump my trash. This is unacceptable. Every single day we have called and been told we will pick it up the next day. Today I watched the dump truck pass my farm, flagged him down and he said he was doing the one side and would come up and do the next side. Never came back. So whats the deal? Rumpke is not a responsible or responsive organization. They failed to pick up my trash bins containing broken branches from a fallen tree limb. They left no explanation. When I called Rumpke customer service, I was told that the driver complained that the branches in the bins were too long. That had never been a problem with Waste Management, our city's previous waste hauler. I was told that if I cut the branches down, they would be picked up with the trash "as a courtesy". I wouldnt even give them the one star but what choice do I have. These overpaid lazy people operate a claw to pick up a trash can and proceed to put it down right in front of someones driveway so they cannot pull their car in after coming home from a long days work. *** was notorious for the same thing and this just proves that my city got what they paid for when they switched over to these losers. the service is very unreliable they pick anytime 5AM thru 5PM we are on a state rt. in a rural area lot of wild animals to get into the trash and a lot of fast move traffic. I called when we saw that the neighbor directly across the Street Called them 2 times June 30th, and again on July 3rd they wanted us to leave trash out by the road all holiday weekend. we were bringing the trash in at night and putting it back out in the morning. Terrible customer service. Negative attitude right from the start. Stopped setting trash out after March. Kept sending me a bill, finally canceled via email in early June, but they pro rated the bill and I had to pay for 2 months of service that I didn't benefit from. Wouldn't listen to my concerns. Very argumentative. Need to get better customer service people. Need different trash service, they are terrible.

Rumpke is HORRIBLE! We pay for trash service and they charge extra for every little thing just to be abused by their customer service. The workers are LAZY and will not do their jobs. Many times, I have gone to pick up the can to find it's not actually empty. Last week, I found a permanent sticky note stuck to the can lid with a snarky note, DO NOT PUT THE CAN OUT WITH THE HANDLE FACING THE WRONG WAY.
