RecommendedWe move to Ruskin 8 years ago and we chose Ruskin animal hospital for our large fur family vet. We have had to put 3 of our pets to sleep and have treated many health issues at their office. We have always had a great experience here. They always treat our babies like family. All 3 Doctors are caring and very professional. The staff is wonderful and always pleasant. Thank you for all you do.

We had to have our little girl doggie put to sleep. They were so compassionate and caring, let us use a side entrance and made us very comfortable. Until they end, they spoke her name and made the whole procedure as painless as possible for her. They were her vet for over 10 years, wonderful folks.

For six years I have taken my many pets here. Never have I experienced anything to complain about. Actually, quite the opposite. Professional and friendly staff, all the veterinarian’s I have become acquainted with have been caring and patient, and I feel so confident in their treatments towards and for my dogs and cats. With 3 dogs and two cats I am sure glad Ruskin Animal is where I go for their medical needs. I am very confident in this facility.
Love the Doctors especially Dr Heaton, for his caring way. He goes up & above with his treatment of my dogs & has such a caring way about him . All the staff so friendly & helpfull always. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.
Two other local vets misdiagnosed my Labradors foot injury... 400 dollars, one week and shear aggravation later An acquaintance recommended dDr Waldy and Dr. Ott and the other doctors at Ruskin animal Hospital. Rocky had an appointment there yesterday morning he met with and was looked at by Dr Waldy. Only took Dr waldy five seconds to correctly diagnose that Rocky had just broken his toenail and that was the cause for the swelling and that now that that Toenail was dead and New nail was growing underneath he needed to t... read more
