I was having trouble with my hip. After a few weeks on the computer, I knew I needed expert advice on what to do. Dr Miyamoto was on time, courteous and polite, he was pretty sure that it was bursitis but wanted to be sure with an X-ray. One shot did the trick! Thank you Doctor!!!
Dr. Miyamoto looked at my shoulder and explained in detail the reason for the pain I was having and recommended a course of action. He was able to treat the pain issue during my visit and the following day the pain was gone. No doubt one of the best visits I have ever had with any Doctor! I highly recommend Dr Miyamoto as a Shoulder Specialist.
Dr. Miyamoto studied my MRI before he came into the exam room, and he gave me 100% attention. Although not what I wanted to hear, he explained that I would need a procedure to repair torn hip tendons - an open hip gluteus medius and minimus (abductor) repair with a graft. I had had cortisone shots and PT, but they were no longer effective. However, the need to repair with an extensive surgical intervention was unexpected. Dr. Miyamoto is absolutely the most professional and competent surgeon. Not only is he top notch in his field, his bed side manner is second to none. He treats all of his patients like they matter to him. Specifically, you aren’t just a number. Dr. Miyamoto replaced my shoulder and it was one if the best decisions I’ve ever made. I trust him implicitly and have referred him to many friends.
Dr. Miyamoto is a wonderful doctor. He is friendly and has an excellent bedside manner. He has been my doctor since I moved to Ashburn six years ago and I followed him to his new location. He is attentive and explains everything in detail. He is highly recommended in my book.
