Rye Heating and Air came out and gave an honest assessment on my HVAC needs. A large company in the region essentially tried to scam me into buying a new unit for $14k, but Thomas came out and checked it. My AC wasn't working during a very hot part of the summer. I thought I'd have to wait, at best, several days in that searing heat. Instead, to my surprise, they were able to come out the next day. Because I provided a detailed description over the phone as to what was and wasn't happening with my unit, they were able to ascertain what the problem might be, came out, fixed it in a very short period of time and it's been working great since. After a recent electrical storm, our HVAC went out. Thomas was at the house @ 8:00 AM. As the unit was quite old I was concerned whether we would need a replacement or if we would be lucky and just need a repair. Thomas determined it only needed a new transformer.
