I've read the Journal Star article that was just published. Just curious, if the tenant called your company to give a 30+day notice, why would your employees not remind her to put her notice in writing. If I were her, and I spoke to you regarding my move out date and you never mentioned any additional requirements for me to fulfill, I would assume everything is ok and I have done everything correct.
