I just had the opportunity to visit This community, met with [Name Removed], an Amazing person with great knowledge about what families are looking for those they love. The place has great are to walk around and there is always someone looking to help residents. I felt great to see that there is people that come work a this place with a great desire to help and make these residents feel at home, with high respect and great values.
Overall-4 Staff -mostly friendly and helpful but understaffed, overworked. Directors - not always aware of their duties because their predecessors leave no instructions. Activities - card games, exercises, outings, movies, visiting entertainment There are mall pets allowed. It's Nice and has clean decor. They have good housekeeping. They have yet to have a fire drill New culinary director and slightly better meals and open dining 7:30 to 6:00. Good room size. There has been a large turnover of directors.
Very much enjoyed this facility. It is under strong consideration for placing my parents. Very nice, clean, modern. Spacious rooms available. Very urban setting. Nice views available
When I arrived, the employees were all very welcoming and the facility is spotless. Some residence were making flower arrangements and seemed content in doing so. Other’s were having a conversation in the dining room having coffee, while I learned a lot of them were out on an excursion. The studio apartment was a good size with a kitchenette. The only reason I didn’t go with this facility is because it was too modern for my mother. I would happily live there.
The facility was near to my mother’s residence and close to her known contacts in the area and the facility seemed to meet all her needs – care, therapy, dining and hair salon. I believe Sage Glendale is a viable and suitable option to assisted living for residents that are ambulatory. My mother is not in that category

Dad and I had a rough first 4 weeks where almost nothing was done as promised (housekeeping, showers, linen and washing clothes). Like other new residents dad did not get the welcome they did...signage in the lobby and at apt. There was no communication between management, me and responsible care staff. Very difficult to communicate with the admin team. Message repeatedly to never get a response...frustrating. Also, errors on the bill and no easy path to correcting this. Overall, the place was pretty great. There were some issues but they were dealt with, and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating in many ways. If I had it to do over again I would move my mom there again.

I think Agemark is greedy, and pays as close to minimum wage as possible to their staff which is why they can't keep anyone very long. The rent is exorbitant, the decor is beautiful, the staff is great, the chef is a hoax.

My mother needed respite care for about two weeks. [name removed] was very helpful and answered all my questions during a tour. We were able to get her situated and settled in a very short time with the facility providing transportation from hospital to Sage and also retrieving her belongings from her home.
