1st time at SAGO - decided to drive up from North Park to check out the place. Good vibe and music. Definitely very busy. We had reservations for a table as we wanted to catch up, but instead we were seated at the bar. I typically would not mind bar seating, but we chose high top for a reason. Was a great experience I would highly recommend delicious food. Great music from the DJ great vibe. 
I thought for the price overrated but some dishes were really good.
We went to celebrate our friends 41st bday on a Wednesday night and it was great. The staff asked us if we were celebrating something special and made sure to remember it was our friends bday when dessert time came. Our server was super friendly and helpful with choices on the menu. The food and drinks were delicious- so much flavor in every bite. Night club atmosphere with a DJ. This is not a place for conversation over drinks and small plates.
Live DJ, great food, dope esthetics, can’t go wrong with a date night, but make sure you talk loud!
The best in encinitas. Will go back again next time in town.
