Drinks & food were delicious! The restaurant is a perfect place to celebrate birthdays and anniversary’s.
The food was amazing. The Lobster Bao Buns were transformational and the tiramisu deserves a whole paragraph .
The restaurant had a very modern vibe. It is very dark inside. The drinks were great and the service was ok. The food menu is small but the food wasn’t bad. I would recommend for a night out with your significant other. Great adult date night spot.
The server was nice, but not so fast. The food was better last time. Steak was too salty. Noodles too. The only really good thing was the Hamachi Ceviche. The prices are high for the portion size and the music was annoying. We have been there before, but unfortunately we all agreed it is not worth going again. Restaurants sometimes start good and then go down in quality
Excellent and delicious, I will go every weekend 🤤
Excited to try Sago for the first time. It has a Club-like vibe. Great design and decor. High top, bar seating is really crammed together. Techno repetitive music. Service mediocre and they rush your service. Japanese fried chicken is next level amazing! Crispy noodles served to us had zero chicken and had only one slice of broccolini stalk on it. So weird and falls flat. Ceviche was extremely small portion for two people, but delicious. Did not love the lobster bao buns sadly, however concept is great, needs tweaking. Glad ... read more
Food was delicious, unusual offerings for Encinitas. Staff was friendly. Too noisy to have a conversation and too dark to tell if there was still food on the the share plates. Also, there was no beer on draft and a very limited wine selection. I would go back for a casual night out for two.
Very few restaurants, especially in San Diego, can compare to the vibe and quality of food. It’s a simple menu with complex flavors - would definitely recommend ordering a few items and sharing with the table. Live DJ with that played the perfect tunes and mixes for the atmosphere. Dining room tables are crowded, so if you can get a booth, they comfortably fit up to 4 adults.
This is honestly one of the best small-plate restaurants I’ve ever been to. Each dish is super unique, flavorful, and fun. The vibe and music were perfect. I highly recommend it!
